We are a family wellness practice and it is important to us that you to feel immediately at home when you walk in the door. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important for you to feel comfortable right from the start.
“Your First Visit To Our Office”
You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!
For many people the first visit to a new health care provider is a step into the unfamiliar. Please allow us to give you an outline of what to expect.
From the moment you walk in you will be greeted with a smile. You will be given a highly informative and educational tour that explains how our office is more unique than any other chiropractic office you have ever been to.
We ask that you dress comfortably for the examination. Please bring your license, health insurance card, and a copy of any past CTs, MRIs, X-rays or other relevant test results.
Chiropractic Consultation and Examination
Following the paperwork, we will get started with gathering all the details about your health and various health challenges. This includes the following:
X-Ray Examination (if necessary).
*These exams should take a total of 45 minutes.
X-rays are sometimes needed to assess, and help diagnose certain conditions. If they are needed we have our own X-ray facilities within our office to ensure that we get the best possible films in a timely manner.
Following your examinations, you will meet Dr. Robert Burgett, Dr. Edward Rusher, or Dr. Ryan Pratt to discuss the relevant details of your health. In order for us to gather a complete picture we may ask questions regarding previous injuries, postural habits, sports, medication usage and results, diet, repetitive stressors, etc. If we feel that your specific health concern is beyond our chiropractic expertise, we will let you know.
After Your Exam
Following your first visit with Dr. Burgett, Dr. Rusher or Dr. Pratt, our office manager will setup an additional appointment for you to receive your first specific and gentle chiropractic adjustment in our clinic. During this time, the doctor will briefly discuss any concerns that were identified from your examinations and/or X-Ray findings. Following your adjustment, our practice manager will schedule you for a report of findings with Dr. Burgett or Dr. Pratt. We will provide you details regarding that next visit.
Report Of Findings
During your report of findings, Dr. Burgett or Dr. Pratt will review your examination and recommendations to see how chiropractic can help, what is the problem, how long will it take, and how much will it cost with insurance included. This ensures that you can make an informed decision that is best for you and your family.
